Digitally Advancing Farmer Finance

Company Background

Interactuar is a Colombian non-profit dedicated to promoting the social, economic, and environmental progress of entrepreneurs—including smallholder farmers—through access to financial services, tailored training, and strategic business connections. With deep roots in rural and low-income communities, Interactuar integrates digital tools to broaden financial inclusion and build lasting resilience among marginalized groups.

Our Product

The “Cliente Nuevo Digital” (CND) initiative is a digital onboarding journey customized for smallholder farmers. It features a farmer-friendly interface connected to Interactuar’s banking system to simplify loan and insurance applications. The CND tool is paired with climate-resilient training modules—offered via digital platforms and in-person workshops—to empower farmers with knowledge and credit access.

Under this agtech project, Interactuar aims to:

  • Expand farmers’ access to credit and insurance through the CND digital onboarding tool
  • Integrate CND with internal banking systems to streamline credit approval
  • Launch a climate-resilient training track with digital modules and workshops
  • Roll out rural marketing campaigns promoting CND in remote communities
  • Reach 1,250 farmers obtaining parametric insurance and 375 female farmers securing credit for the first time
