Digital Agricultural Planning for Smallholder Farmers

Company Background

Crezcamos is a Colombian financial institution serving low-income and rural communities since 2008. With over 105,000 clients—55% women and 64% in rural areas—across 110,000 clients and 62 branches, it offers credit and insurance solutions for its clients, with a mission of simplifying access to financial services for entrepreneurs and farmers. Recently, Crezcamos launched its first digital banking App, “MO$Í!”.

Our Product

Crezcamos is developing a digital agricultural planner designed to help smallholder farmers optimize harvests and access financial products.
This integrated app will:

  • Enable farmers and agricultural associations to plan profitable projects using data, cost analysis, and optimal production structures
  • Provide continuous technical follow-up to farmers throughout the cultivation cycle
  • Access credit and insurance products aligned with planned projects

Under this agtech project, Crezcamos aims to:

  • Develop and integrate digital agriculture planner functionalities into its banking systems
  • Design a user-friendly interface
  • Enable farmers to request loans and insurance via the digital agriculture planner
  • Train Crezcamos’s commercial advisors so that they could support farmers in using the digital tool
  • Launch a marketing campaign
  • Reach 1,000 farmers with financial product
